Continue by road into the Siang belt via local taxi, shared sumo or tourist vehicle.
Suggested route
Fly into Dibrugarh or Pasighat (via helicopter service), then travel by road through Yinkiong onwards to Tuting.

By Rail

Murkongselek and Dibrugarh (Assam)
Onward travel
Hired vehicles and shared sumos run from the railhead into the Siang Valley.
Suggested route
Travel by train to Murkongselek or Dibrugarh, then continue by road via Pasighat, Yinkiong and Tuting.

By Road

Bus connectivity
State and private buses connect major towns of the Siang belt; frequency varies by season.
Road access
Mountain roads — drive with care in monsoon. 4x4 recommended for remote stretches towards Tuting and Gelling.
